This particular product is used mainly in agriculture, specifically for pig farming, though it can be utilized to some advantage in other fields as well, e.g. in the chemical, food and other industries, in the form of load-bearing floors, etc. Structurally expanded polypropylene meet all standards of the hygiene if it is used fro this purpose.

It’s physical and mechanical properties account for its excellent resistance to corrosive atmospheres, for its good heat-insulated properties and long service lifetime (at minimum 10 years).

The guaranteed load-bearing capacity of the grates in functional position (i.e. supported along the load-bearing edges) is 300 kg provided the burden is evenly distributed over the entire area.
