Pump stations

Use of pump stations:

Pump stations are used for pump of wastewater, rainwater and other liquids.
Pumped water and sludge are without abrasive materials (sand, small stones) and without textiles, or fibre matters. Specific weight is up to 1050 kg/m3, temperature up 20 oC, pH 6 – 8. Pump stations are the mostly used in sewerage, or for drainage of building areas, or for irrigation etc.

– Pumps are divided in accordance with the way of settling underground (in green areas, under road), in accordance – of the number of pumps (one, two), – of pump type (sludge type, with cutting equipment) – of outlet pipe (pressure, gravitational).

Description:

Water flow into accumulation space of pump station, from which is periodic re-pump – with dependence of water level. Pumps are switch-on by help of floating switch (for min. and max. water level). If pumps are out of operation, then the second floating switch will turn on (breakdown water level) signalisation equipment (acoustic, or optic). Pump stations are made of polypropylene desks.

Settling underground:

  1. a) in green areas – self supported design (pump station is step by step filled by water inside and backfilled outside by sorted ground, or by sand-gravel material.

  2. b) under roads – not self-supported design, for concrete around (pump station is step by step filled by water inside and concreted around from outside).

Pump stations are equipped with plastics cover. They can have different diameters of inlets and outlets. All tanks are watertight in accordance with the Czech Standard ČSN 75 0905.

Equipment of pump stations

Pump stations are individually equipped with sludge pumps (or pumps with cutting equipment), or in accordance with other technical requests. Pumps are supplied from producers SIGMA, or KSB. We deliver pumps mostly with guide steel ropes (or rods) for easier maintenance. Inside pump station is plastic, or aluminium ladder, 2 – 3 pcs. of floating switches, plastic pipe, incl. backwash valve and closing valve.

Order

Order shout include: dimensions (height and diameter) of manhole, the way of settling in terrain,  diameter and height of inlets + outlets, number and type of pumps, and next equipment of pump station – number of floating switch, ladder, el. switchboard etc.
