VEOLIA Belgium 2023

In November 2023, a delivery of an MBR wastewater treatment plant (according to the customer-supplied documentation) was completed for **VEOLIA Belgium**, for the construction **PEPSICO Ltd.**

This involved a total of 3 MBR above-ground tanks. The dimensions were 6800 x 2650 mm, height 3370 mm). These tanks serve the MBR technology (membrane filtration from the USA), which allows for the maximum possible recycling of treated water (the treated water is returned to the closed circuit of technological water in production). This way, a significant amount of water costs is saved, which would otherwise flow to the municipal wastewater treatment plant without utilization (at not exactly small fees).

For static reasons, the MBR tanks were equipped with a bracing of galvanized frames around (a total of 7pcs) interconnected by plastic-coated rods. The static calculation was made for a 20-year lifespan of the construction.

For safety during handling (loading and unloading), special certified lifting loops with sufficient capacity were used. Transport was carried out by a specialized company using 3 oversized trailers with a permit for oversized transport in Germany and Belgium…
